The scene opens at a company camp in the middle of the night. It's been a long day at work, and we're all feeling pretty drunk. We're not sure what's going on, but it's pretty obvious that we've wasted a lot of time at work. The hot springs, the hot summer, and the smell of rotting meat all contribute to the unpleasantness of the scene. The narrator is all, "Holy cow, I'm so drunk, I can't believe I've been at work for so long." He's got a lot to say, but he's also got to get it out of his system ASAP. He tells us that he'll be sending the location of the company camp to the other employees.
