At the company camp, the hot springs and the hotter things inside tempt the boss, akasaka, to slip, twitch, tremble, and squeeze his way through the stifling summer air. He's about to lift the hard-floored camp floor when he realizes that he's getting light headed. He clenches his lips and squeezes his pant leg, hoping to catch a glimpse of his new boss's "thoughtful ness." He pats the next day the personnel transfer notice, which says that general affairs is being reassigned to sales. The next day, he says, he notices that midori has been kicked out of her job. He doesn't see her transfer anywhere else on the company.
