In this chapter, Cai tells his classmates that he has something to tell them. He admits that he once climbed the wall during his sophomore year, but that he did it many times during his freshman year. He tells Cai that he will make Cai write this in his office the next day. Cai says that he is going to play a game with feng zhang, who is under some pressure. He asks Cai's brother and sister-in-law, Jun and qiu, to join him in the study hall so that they can enjoy the rush of the exam together. They ask Cai to explain why he is at the study halls at night, and Cai says he does not dare to ask any questions. He then tells qiu that he won the exam when he was in kindergarten. Cai asks qiu if he needs any help, and he says he will cut the crap out of the wall and paint. Cai tells him to do as he says, and then he will go down and draw his own picture.
