About This Chapter
Three days before the exam, the teacher asks the students what they're studying for. They're not studying, but they've improved. The teacher tells the students that they can't lie about what happened to their family, because it's so hard to do. He tells them that they'll have to start studying tomorrow if they haven't improved. He says that he'll go back to the in-firmary if he's not feeling well. He also asks if he still has the medicine from the last time he took it, and he says that because he took a bath he had a bit of an itchy wound. He's fine, and the teacher tells him that if he doesn't feel well, he can take him to the hospital. He then asks sheng if he and the prodigy got sick the same time, and sheng says that they are obviously not well. Then the teacher says that it might be best to let the two of them have a check-up at the hospital, since the school has recently experienced a national salvation event. The new school has a piece, he says, because the new version of the same disease can spread from one school to another.
