About This Chapter
After the midterm examination, the students discuss their results. Amitabha congratulates his brother on his good performance. He tells him that his attitude toward studying has improved recently. He also tells his brother that his mother has been asking about his mental problems. He says that he heard this from his former classmate who is studying at a school in liyang. The classmate said that two students were struck by lightening, and that his scores would increase significantly if he were to be struck at all. He asks his brother if he thinks that it is possible that he could be struck by lightning, and his brother replies that he was struck but that his score was still high if he had so much time to study. He then tells his sister that he won a crayon drawing contest when he was in kindergarten, and he asks her if anyone else wants to participate in the competition. He explains that drawing is his "forte," and now that he has the chance to draw, he will think about it, and if anyone wants to join, let him know.
