The wolf-dog tells the wolf-man that he's in the wolf's dream, and that he has something to tell the wolf. He wants to know who saved the wolf from the bears, and he wants to thank the wolf for his help. He's sorry, but the wolf doesn't want to believe that the wolf was a human being, and so he just wants to say thank you.
