It's late, and we're not exactly sure what to make of this scene. We're guessing that it's a bit of a cliffhanger, since we've never seen the two of them together before. Anyway, the narrator tells us that he's glad to be home, because he'd really like to spend some time with Cloten. He's also worried that some pirates are harassing the border with China, and he wants to know what's going on. He sends a message to Cloten through a pigeon, and promises to come back as soon as he can.
