The spirit beast, he says, is the one who has taken the spiritual root of others. He tells the alchemist that his own spiritual root will also be taken from him soon, and the two of them will soon be together. The two men discuss how the alchemist can use the spirit root to extract his spiritual qi from his body. The man says that the alchemist should not have used his own body as a source of spiritual roots for others, as it is immoral. He says that he must use the bug to extract the root of his own soul. The bug looks like a strong bloodline, like that of the alchemist. The fire in the palace is very similar to the fire in huaxia. The symbols on the stone wall appear very familiar.
