He's just a descendant of the cerberus, who lost all of his power when he left the city, and is now in danger of being eaten by the other undead. He asks the owner if he can take his dog to the you-quan ravine, where the alchemist took the root, and then he and the dog will meet again. The two of them head off to the ravine together, but before they leave, the owner introduces them to Master Mo, an alchemist from the "liloquio alchemy" sect. Master Mo is impressed by Master Yang's knowledge of alchemy, and introduces him to Master Xiang, who is also a master alchemist. Master Xiang introduces Master Mo to Master Yang, and Master Yang introduces Master Min to Master Min.
