Five years have passed since they last saw each other, and Tullus is still tall. He tells Tullus that he has become a gardener. Tullus tells him that he beat him in the gardener's assessment, and that Tullus deserved it, because he's done a lot for the people of Tullus. He asks Tullus why he is hiding in Tullus's secret hideout, but Tullus says that he can't contact Tullus because his grand mother died a year ago, and he doesn't want to meet her again. He says that the rebels have provided food and shelter for Tullus and his friends, and they even provide Tullus with a place to hide in the middle of the night so that he won't be discovered. Tullu asks where he should go to find the target of the attack. He knows that there are thirteen men in the room, but he decides to leave it to Tullus to figure it out himself.
