In this chapter, Rorschach explains that he is unable to find Lei xi because he has lost all of his memories of her. He also explains that the fragments of magic that were left behind on the body of the missing man are very unstable. He is sure that someone took the man away by magic, but he does not believe that humans can practice magic. He says that the lock in the room was cracked, and that the man must have known about it. The man becomes more and more irritable, and he asks to be brought to him immediately. He asks that he be paid back when he gets his next salary, and then he suggests that he should not go anywhere else. If he cannot come back within two months, this means that the problem has gone far beyond the system framework.
