In this chapter, the young man, who goes by the name of "baixiong" , tells his story. He was fourteen years old when he left the elite training academy at the age of fourteen. He has been suffering from depression and anxiety ever since. The coach of the academy told him that the competitive matches would worsen his condition, so his parents took the entire family to Europe and traveled around the world. The young man tells his coach that he has been playing well and that it is too early for him to give up on his dream of becoming a professional player. He tells the coach that the "privileged guy" has stayed longer than he expected and that he will never reach the pinnacle of professional achievement because of his medical condition.
