In this short scene, we meet a young man named cheng, a student at the local guotao-snook club. He's here to watch a friendly match between Zhengzhou and Shanghai. Unsure of his identity, cheng asks a few questions about his past. He tells us that his name is murphy, and that he's come to watch the match at Zhengzhou's snooker club. Worried about the upcoming fight, he asks cheng about his history with the British guy, and cheng tells him not to tell the coach of the match about it, because the coach is "such a snob" . He also tells cheng that being "weak is a sin" , which is why he didn't diss him back when he was defeated in the last match. Confused by the whole situation, the young man decides to prank cheng by asking him a question about what he would do if his friend were to be in a fight with Zhengzhou.
