About This Chapter
In this chapter, we're introduced to a new member of the club, Haiyan, and his new roommate, Qiu-ning. Haiyan's new roommate is playing a game called "squeezing" , which is basically a pool game where you take balls out of a pool cue and place them in pockets. The cue is called a "shot" and the player who pockets the balls is called "the shot." The shot is the most important part of the game, because if the shot doesn't go your way, you're going to lose the game. This is the first time we've heard of this game, and it's kind of like a "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf" kind of game, where you have to guess who's going to win the game before you can actually win it.
