In this chapter, the students discuss the recent scandal involving Xiaohua. One of the students asks if the gossip about him is true, and the other students reply that he is not a small time celebrity, but a handsome actor who is popular even overseas. The students then go on to explain that they are going to a shareholder meeting because of the scandal, and that it is all because of his girlfriend, who has been "like a lost soul" since the news of his cheating broke out. They explain that after gathering "the human energy" for seven days , they will be able to "turn xiaohuas fate around" . They then explain that many of their students have turned against him, and they must learn how to "form their own opinion" , which is why they are still helping him. The other students agree that they will not help him, but they do agree to help him in the future if he does not turn against them.
