It's been forty-nine days since the experiment was conducted, and Shu's still not at school. He wants to go back to school, but he can't because there are two more days before the experiment is to be completed. He begs his brother to let him stay home a little longer so that he can see the results of the experiment on the following day. Shu wakes up and thanks his brother for making breakfast for him, even though it is just dumplings. He asks his brother if he has a meeting today, and he promises to bring him milk tea when he returns from work.
