The mermaids decide to go to a nearby lake to soak the boy in water, but they're too far away to do so. They decide to use the butterfly to guide them to the lake, but the butterfly doesn't seem to recognize the mermaids. The two decide to wait until they've learned more spells before diving into the water to save the boy.
