The next morning, Huck wakes up to find that he has to go back to school. He tells his friend that he's going to school so that he can take care of business for his brother, who's working for a company called Xiaohua. Huck tells him to go to school early because he needs to prepare food for the bug, which has been cocooned and is ready to eat. Huck explains that the bug is water-resistant, so he can control it as if it were a part of his body. Huck then tells Huck to put the bug on the windowsill so that people won't see him. Huck says that he even called him an hour before he was supposed to return to school to set up the bug's food. He explains that his grandma has been his closest friend since he was a little kid, and when his parents died, he was all his brother and he had left. When he was young, he lost his mom and dad, and his brother had to write an Excused Letter to explain that he was going to take a long break from school so he could "digest everything." Huck tells Huck that he did all his homework the last two weeks, and that his teacher has been very kind to him. He also tells Huck about a celebrity that got exposed and was being attacked by the whole world, and how his sister helped him support him with his money.
