The monster is still alive, though, and the only thing different is that he has a mouth to feed him. The other thing that hasn't changed is the fact that there are no side effects in the book. So, the book is fake, right? The monster can't believe that the woman who gave him the book didn't warn him about the side effects. The woman is so stupid that she's giving the monster a dangerous thing to do.
