This chapter opens with a flashback to the events of the previous chapter. In this chapter, we learn that Mingyu searched through several treasure chests and found a book on refining elixirs. Mingyu was unable to find Mingyu because he had to go to a nearby town to find him. The book contains a brass cauldron, which Mingyu used to refine his own spirit.
