In the next few days, the alchemist will have plenty of time to work on his alchemy skills. He notices that there are eight inscriptions on the wall of the cauldron, which look like they were made for a specific purpose. He remembers that a few days earlier, Chen Moyun accidentally got the brass cauldron. It looked like a wasted cauldron, but no one cared about it back then, so it ended up in the hands of "the low-ranking cauldrons secrets" . If he can get all of the secrets of this cauldron, he says, he'll be the "elixir king of snow kingdom" by then. The alchemist wonders why the herb liquid isn't enough to turn a man into an herb man. He wonders if it's because he's spent so much time refining the herb that he hasn't gotten enough out of it yet. He also wonders if he will be the first man in history to die of excessive spiritual absorption. He decides to try his luck at alchemy again.
