Return of the Avenger

The next round of the combat will be presided over by an elder. The five most outstanding students from each grade will form a new group for the last round of combat. After the battle, the five best students from the previous round will form the new team. The narrator asks if the boy is willing to participate in the final round. The boy replies that he has already done what he wanted. He asks the narrator to explain why he took the puppy out of the battle field with him. He says that he brought the puppy with him because the emperor told him that anyone who tries to steal it from him will be cursed forever by the emperor's runes. The clown asks if he is also hungry, and the narrator says he is.
