This chapter opens with the arrival of the Governess. The Governess warmly welcomes her guest and invites him to dine with her. She then takes him to the swimming pool, the wine cellar, and the wisteria. She tells him that he is welcome to visit any of these places anytime he wants. He asks her to let him go back to the fox tribe. She says that he has already agreed that he would always be by her side. He tells her that he wants to return to the tribe because he has been cheated on by her in the past. She asks him why he arrested him. He says that lying is a sin and that he did not steal from the vampire tribe. He warns her that if she does not want to become the owner of the manor, then she should stay in prison.
