This chapter opens with a flashback to the events of the previous chapter. The flashback tells the story of how little Xingxing made friends at school, and how he and his friends went to an audiovisual store and ran into big sister Xiao-hong, who treated them well and even gave them ice cream. Little Xing tells us that he is the one who gave her the order to do the "grey ge" , and he tells her that he will not get involved with her business again.
