Stop It, Mr. Taoist Priest

The monster tells the monster that he and the girl are in the forest, and that he's going to drag the girl out and beat her until she's ready to leave. The monster says that he promised the girl that she'd never leave the forest again, and he promises to be friends with her for the rest of her life. He's sorry that he broke in, but he has something he wants to discuss with his mom. He always thought that his mom's story about the demon was a fantasy, but when he was younger, his mom told him she could see the demon, but she doesn't have the kind of ability that he does. Two years ago, the monster was told that his mother had alzheimers disease, and two years later, she was found to have lied to the demon about her condition in order to protect the forest. She even made a doll of the demon that she held in her arms and said that the demon forgave her. He asks if the demon will forgive his mother for lying to him, and the monster says he believes that her lie was probably for the purpose of protecting him.
