The next morning, the group heads to the hot spring, where they'll spend the day soaking in the springs. They'll have to share a single bed, which is awkward because they're planning to sleep in the middle of the night. They decide to take off their clothes before they go to bed so they can get a good look at each other's bodies. The group then goes off to change into their bathing suits, and the narrator asks the group where all the "fats" they usually eat come from. He's curious, and wants to know where they got all of their "extras" from. The narrator says he's asking because he wants people to be jealous if he says things like this. He then asks if the group is allowed to wear bathing suits to the springs, and if it's allowed to do so, and then he asks if they feel anything at all, and they both say they do.
