In this chapter, we learn that the narrator is going to college in New York City and that his roommate, alvan, is also going to school in the same city. We learn that alvan is a "King of Lazy asses" , and that he and arin are both "big slacker baby" . We also learn that arin is "obsessed" with cleanliness and that a person who is "absolutely anti-cleansing" will " sterilize everything" before using it.
