It's the morning of the big ceremony, and we're introduced to a new character. This one's named Arin, and she's a student at the same school as Van Clitheroe. We learn that Arin's parents have paid her nanny, Cathy, to care for her since she was born in the States. Cathy's been taking care of Arin since he was a baby, and now that he's grown up, she'll be able to do whatever she wants with him.
