It's the first day of the new school term, and the narrator is worried about what's going to happen to him if he runs into a girl named alvan. He wants to know where she's been all this time. He's also worried about how he'll react when he finds out that he's not allowed to greet her at school anymore. He tries to get her to come back to the fairground with him, but she won't listen to him. He tells her to go back to class, and she agrees. She tells him that she loves him, and then she starts to cry. She's worried that she'll get kicked out of the school, because her mom told her that she was supposed to live in a boarding house. She can't believe that her mom would kick her out of her own home. She also realizes that arin is in the same class as her, and that the cleaning team isn't finished cleaning yet. The cleaning team runs off, leaving the narrator with a "secret story" .
