It's been three days since Ani has been sick, and she's finally feeling well enough to go back to school. She asks Ani if she can ask Kike to come back with her to school, but Ani says she'll have to wait until tomorrow to tell him. Ani tells him that she'd like to study abroad, but her homeroom teacher won't let her study abroad because she wants to live in her room alone. Ani asks if she should tell Arin about the plan to live alone, and Ani says it's just a plan, but she still wants to know what Arin's reaction will be when she learns about it. Ani's still not sure what to make of the situation, so she tells her that she and Kike are "almost close" to each other, and that Kike is just "playing around" with her. Ani is furious, and says she doesn't want to accept Kike's feelings for her, because she likes someone else.
