In this short scene, we learn that the Governess is on her way to the school during her summer vacation. The Governess's friend, the President, is also on his way to school during his summer vacation as well. The two men are interrupted by the arrival of Yonkyung's father, who is playing the guitar at the school. The father is very excited to see his son, and the two men begin to argue about whether or not they should go to school together. The President, however, is determined to go anyway, for he is worried about his daughter's well-being.
