The narrator tells us that he came to school to escape his mother's "self-censorship" . He says that his mother is a student who has been suspended twice for smoking in class and for riding a motorbike without a helmet. The narrator asks the president of the school why he wants to talk to him. The president tells him that he's a student president, which means that he lives by doing what other students do. The student president says that he doesn't live a boring life, but he does live by what others tell him to do. He tells the narrator that he can eat a dish called "Jajongmyeon" at a restaurant with his friends and order "Tangsuyuk" , which is sweet and sour meat/pork, at a later time. This would save the student president from having to wait in line for the meal to be served. This is hilarious to the narrator, who says that the president is "laughing" more than he looks.
