He invites sia to live with him at home, but she doesn' t want to go, so he leaves. He introduces himself as the distant relative of his dead relative, who died when he was a child. He explains that he came to live in Korea because his parents' circumstances made it impossible for him to return to the U.S. . He tells sia that he has already spoken with her parents, and they've agreed to let him live with them for a year in order to study in Korea. Shallow is shocked to hear that his dad's relative is living in his house.
