In this chapter, we learn that Hiroshi is a "big fat meanie" who "bumped hi school" when he was five years old. We also learn that when Hiroshi was fifteen years old, he fell in love with a nun who lived in the same library as him. The nun tells us that the two of them "jumped off" when they saw a full moon through a window in Hiroshi's music room, thinking they could beat it. We learn that the nun is now a "mortal ghost" who will haunt Hiroshi for years to come.
