About This Chapter
In this short scene, the young piano player, who has just returned from a four-day trip to the kuru music festival in Japan, tells his friend Aiza that he wants to play at the festival. Aiza, however, has already decided that she will play a piece that she has written for the festival, and the piano player says that he is sorry that he has missed the chance to play his piece. He also says that Aiza is afraid of being judged by others, and that there is a moment in her life that makes everything worth it. He says that his music reaches a lot of people and that that moment makes his music all worth it, even though he is afraid to expose his heart and soul to the world. He adds that he will kill anyone who calls him an amateur because he puts his soul and heart into the piano. He asks Aiza when she first met him, and she says that it is almost their turn to play together.
