Everyone is awesome, and Ksei is one of them. He's a "wild west gun-slinger" , but he doesn't twitch an eye. He has a "heart of steel" . The narrator tells us that he's depressed, and that's why he asked for pat's forgiveness. He says that if he looked fine, he wouldn't ask for it. But if he was depressed, he'd tell him to just swallow his pride and say, "ha, ha, ha," . He also says that it's better to be in love with someone else than with yourself, because you're not going to be able to help someone else. He adds that he wants to make himself look good, so he starts making snide comments about himself. He wonders if this is because he is in love, and he wonders if he is always such a bad person. He asks if it would be better if they had never met, and says that he would do anything for her, even if it meant he would have to commit suicide with her. He wants to know what's going on with school, and asks if he'll be back in a few days.
