About This Chapter
The chapter opens with a soliloquy by the captain of the Manji gang. He tells his men that the war against the black dragons is a "ration of war" by the "black drag ons" . He says that they already defeated the ninth generation of the black dragon before the tenth generation. The captain asks why hakkai took him there, and the captain replies that he was acting as an informant for the blacks. He then tells the captain that he has already formed a plan to stop the captain from leaving the group. He asks the captain to plan a way to stop him from leaving, and he says that if the captain does not accept the request to leave, then they have a plan for him to do so.
