In this chapter, we learn that the two girls have made up, but that they're still not happy with each other. They've both been hurt, and now they want to go to the shrine on New Year's Eve, but they can't because it's too cold. They want to bring their sister back home, but it'll be late at night, so they'll have to wait until the next day. We learn that their parents aren't there, and that their brother raised them in different homes. They don't share the same culture, and they've been separated from each other for a long time now. They talk about how their brother taught them all sorts of savage things, but he wasn't around, and sometimes he doesn't know where he's going. He's lost his mind, and he knows that he'll eventually lose his mind. He used to be the boss of the motorcycl gang, and even though he sucked at fighting, everyone around him idolized him. Everyone would gather around him, and everyone thought that he was the toughest guy in the world. He sparkled like no one thought he'd ever lose, even if he had his backs. Just like you, he says, he just isn't strong enough to take on anyone. He wants his sister to scold him, to take mitchy, like his brother would have.
