About This Chapter
The chapter opens with a soliloquy by Hiroshi. He tells us that he's going to meet with the leaders of the Tokyo Manji gang, but that he won't do it if they continue to treat him like a slave. He says that he already knows that the leader of the gang is stronger than him, and that the fight is like a bull-dozer versus a "crappy little car" . He wants to kill the guy, but Hiroshi refuses to do it, saying, "I'm not going to lose. I'm going to kill you if you want to kill me." He tells the gang leader that if they want to win, they have to kill him, but if they don't want to, they can just kill him. The gang leader says, "You're losing all dience. The vice-president of the manji gang is not a good guy. He can't even be the president of the men's gang. The chapter ends with Hiroshi's name being called.
