This is a locked chapterChapter 219 A Sense of Foreboding
About This Chapter
The chapter opens with the narrator, dressed in his brahman uniform, making his way to an amusement park. He's been looking forward to coming to the amusement park for a long time, but now that he's dressed like a brahman, he can't help but be a little creeped out. He asks the hanagaki if she's really the one who started the war on July 14th, and she tells him that she doesn't really know. The two brahmans discuss whether or not they'll be able to defeat the south and the north in the upcoming battle, and the narrator says that if they get too big, lots of people will get involved, and then there will be a lot of unhappy people, too. The narrator feels awful, and he looks at the paper that the two men have written. The paper says that they've written a wish for each other, and they both agree that they will defeat the north and the south in the coming battle. The men leave to go check out the park, but the rain keeps them indoors. The rain keeps the men indoors, so they take shelter in a nearby park.
