In this chapter, we meet Hiroshi and his friends, who are members of a diving club. Hiroshi tells us that he's a first-year student at Oumi Women's University and has always wanted to become a professional diver, but has never spoken to the other members of the club because he doesn't want to be seen as a flirt. He's also worried that they're studying for their diving license, so he suggests that they start using hand signals to signal for their license. He says that they can start training the other club members to get their licenses now that they have new members, and he'll be the one to beat them.
