In this chapter, we learn that cakey is going back to school because of her tuition. She's worried that her family will be able to pay for it, so they're going to have to find a way to get her into a good school. We're not sure what this means, but we're guessing that it means that she's going to be working as a maid. We also learn that her parents aren't paying for her school, so she'll have to work for them on the farm for a while.
