In this chapter, we learn that the narrator has changed a great deal in the past few months. He's changed so much, in fact, that he can't figure out why he hasn't changed at all. He says that he's only interested in one person at the moment, and that's his fiance, Taiga-chan. The two of them go out to find the engagement ring, and the narrator is so excited about it that he doesn't even notice that it's been a few days since he last saw the man he loves. When he gets home, he finds out that the girl he went out to dinner with has taken off the ring and washed her hands.
