In the meantime, we're introduced to a new character, the pet octopus, who's just returned from a trip to the Okonomiyaki festival in Japan. He's super excited to be back at home, but he's also a little worried that his mom is going to find out about him and the rest of the family's secret love affair. He can't believe his mom would let a stranger stay at her house, but she's not going to let it happen to him. She's going to tell her mom about the whole affair, and he'll have no choice but to leave.
