In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character, chan, who is introduced as "anri" . chan tells us that he and Anri have been friends since the beginning of the novel, and that chan is upset that Anri has changed her mind about him. He tells chan that he has a flower in his room that he wants to use as a disguise for Anri, but that she has rejected it. He asks chan to go back to his room, where he can use the flower to make up for the rejection of the flower. .
