In this short scene, Roxane tries to figure out what's going on. She's worried that Selia is going to show up, but she's also worried that she'll find out that she and Roxane went to the theater together. Roxane is worried that everyone will find out about her and Selia's secret rendezvous, so she decides to write an article about the whole thing. She can't figure out why everyone's so worried about Selia, and she'd like to get back to writing about it. She wonders why no one is paying attention to the whole "violent unification" thing, and then she realizes that she has a lot of money to spend. She figures out that everyone has been hanging out at the theater looking like nothing, and that's why they're all hanging out. She wants to go back and write about it, but then she thinks about all the money she has and realizes that there's no way that she can make any progress with Selia since she hasn't changed at all.
