About This Chapter
Fifteen years ago, a group of sixty men led by the father of one of the men, carlo, attempts to capture a giant monster. The father of the man, sorum, is present at the time of his son's birth. He tells the story of how he participated in the attempt to capture the monster and how he and his son were present when carlo was born. The two men discuss the possibility of using the net to trap the giant's legs. They discuss the fact that the giant has no male sex and wonder if the giant does not need to have sex to survive.
