About This Chapter

He also wonders why the soldiers aren't firing at the cannons when the battle's still on. He wonders if the soldiers mistook him for a burglar, and asks if the military police have taken custody of the kid. He then wonders why he didn't steal the knife, and wonders if he's the son of the captain of the squad who gave it to the captain. He asks the kid if he would have been in the same position if he hadn't stolen the knife. He says he'd be in the belly of the titan by now, if it weren't for the knife . Then the kid asks if there's any way that the captain could have known that the kid was stealing the knife from him, and if he could have prevented it from happening.
