In this short scene, Nemo explains that he has made a mistake and that he is sorry for waking the sleeping creature. He tells the creature that he loves him and wishes that he could sleep with him, but that he cannot because of his mistake. He says that he feels sorry for the creature because he has caused her so much pain, but he is happy that he can live with her. He explains that even though he wants to talk to Nemo about things, he is unable to do so because he is so wrapped up in his own thoughts. He is happy because he can stand next to Nemo and support him, who is always progressing. He asks the creature to go to sleep, but the creature says that it is too late
