The woman on the other end of the phone is upset that Roxane is not with her anymore. She wants to know what's going on between her and Roxane. The woman tells her that she's a friend of Roxane's, but that she doesn't need anything from her. She's just happy to be with him. She tells the woman that she thinks he's much better than his last girlfriend. She asks if he ever talks about his past girlfriends, and the woman says that he never talks about them. She also says that she was happy when she was able to get to know him, because she never thought about him's past. She wonders if he'll tell her anything about it, but she can't figure out what to say. She thinks he might go back to his old girlfriend, and she worries that he might want to do so. She says that if he does tell her, she'll be able to figure out how he got back together with his old friend. She knows that he didn't get along with his former girlfriend because she pretended to be his friend, and people started spreading rumors that he was gay. He started pretending to be friends with other girls, and since then, he has been pretending to date other girls who he pitys more than he does. She thanks the woman for telling her all this, and says she'd like to become a better friend to him.
